160 th REGIONAL BRAINOBRAIN ABACUS COMPETITION 8 th DECEMBER2024

This is a great opportunity for us to motivate the children and to ensure that they practicedaily.The Practice sessions for the competition are more important than the competition itself. Oncethechildren Practice daily you will see a marked change in their speed and accuracy. Takingpart inthecompetition will also help you in reducing the number of Dropouts and indirect publicity.

a) Registration for the Competition

All registrations would be done through the FMS. The link for the same has alreadybeencreatedon the Franchise logins. We would try and send The Hall tickets, Brainobrain Jackets, Level Stickers, Games Coupons,Food Coupons to the centres, if not then they can be collected from the RegistrationDeskontheday of the competition.

b) Doing Sums on Abacus

T, A, B and Little Bobs Category participants will do the paper entirely on Abacus. Inthepastwe have found that many of the children are not doing the sums on abacus. If anysuchdiscrepancy is found then the child/centre would be disqualified. We would be verystrictinchecking the children of these categories, so kindly ensure that all the children are doingsumsonly on the abacus. If any doubt exists over whether the child has used the Abacus or not thenthe child would be re-examined during the Lunch Break.

c) Competition

The Competition would be conducted Level wise i.e. The student is eligible for participatinginthe Level which he/she has last completed (on or before 8 th December 2024). The childrencanattempt any question first. They do not have to go question number wise. The Marks obtainedbythe children would be adjusted according to his age, based on the following MultiplicationIndex
